DYU C4 Folding Electric Bike

The C4 is a compact folding electric bike with 14-inch wheels and a height-adjustable seat. You ride it using the throttle rather than pedal assist, and it folds in two steps to 121.5 x 33 x 60cm for storage at home or in a car boot.

A 250W rear hub motor gives speeds up to 15.5mph (25km/h), and the removable 36V 10Ah battery gives up to 42km per charge. Front and rear mechanical disc brakes, a bright LED headlight, an LED display, a safety switch to stop accidental starts and a rear rack that takes up to 25kg come as standard.

Road use and UK law: The C4 runs on its throttle, not pedal assist. In the UK, an e-bike that can power itself without pedalling must be type approved before it can be ridden on public roads, so without that it is for private land only, with the landowner's permission.

Order Confirmation: Once you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card, but your payment will not be processed immediately. We will then proceed to process your payment and begin preparing your order for dispatch.
Order Delivery: All orders are typically dispatched within 5 working days of payment being processed. You will receive tracking details by email within 24 hours of dispatch. If you have not received tracking information within 6 working days of placing your order, please contact us at sales@pedalgo.co.uk and we’ll assist you.
Damages on Delivery: All products are fully insured during delivery. Please inspect all items carefully at the time of delivery. If you notice any visible damage, we strongly advise that you do not accept the delivery. If you later discover damage, please email clear photos of the affected items to sales@pedalgo.co.uk as soon as possible. We will initiate an insurance claim on your behalf and help arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
Cancellations & Refunds: Orders cancelled after 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. If your order has already been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any return shipping costs. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method used to place the order.

DYU Electric Bike Warranty – Pedal Go

At Pedal Go, we stand by the quality and reliability of the DYU electric bikes we sell. Every DYU e-bike purchased from our store includes a minimum 1-year UK warranty covering key components and manufacturing defects.

What’s Covered

Your DYU e-bike warranty includes protection against manufacturing defects for the following components:

• Frame – 1-year warranty

• Motor – 1-year warranty

• Battery – 1-year warranty

• Display & Controller – 1-year warranty

• Charger – 6-month warranty

• Electrical wiring & internal cabling – 1-year warranty

This warranty covers non-commercial use only and applies from the original date of delivery.

What’s Not Covered

The warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear (e.g. tyres, brake pads, chains)

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, neglect, or modification

• Corrosion or water damage due to improper storage or usage

• Labour costs or shipping costs for unauthorised repairs

• Use in competitive riding, stunts, or commercial environments

Any damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the user manual may void your warranty.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your DYU e-bike has a warranty issue, please contact us at sales@pedalgo.co.uk with:

• Your order number

• A clear description of the issue

• Photos or videos showing the fault

Our team will assess your claim and, if valid, arrange for a repair, replacement part, or full replacement depending on the situation.

Important Notes

• Repairs must be carried out by an authorised technician or warranty may be voided

• The warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only

• In some cases, proof of maintenance or setup by a qualified professional may be required

UK Regulations – Electric Bikes & Scooters

At Pedal Go, we make sure our customers fully understand the legal regulations surrounding electric bikes and scooters before they buy. We offer both UK road-legal e-bikes and high-powered models intended for off-road use only.

Electric Bikes (E-Bikes)
Standard electric bikes that meet UK law are limited to a top assisted speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h) and a motor output of no more than 250 W. These are classed as Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycles (EAPCs) and can be ridden on public roads and cycle paths without tax, insurance, registration, or a driving licence.

Some of the bikes we sell exceed these limits in their unrestricted mode. These higher-powered models are not legal for use on UK public roads, cycle lanes, or pavements unless modified to comply with EAPC regulations. They are intended for off-road or private land use only, where permission has been granted by the landowner.

It is the responsibility of the rider to ensure their e-bike is being used legally and in accordance with current UK regulations.

Electric Scooters
Privately owned electric scooters are not currently legal to use on UK public roads, pavements, or cycle paths. They can only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission. Only government-approved rental scooters are permitted in certain trial areas.
